Free Flights for People In Need
At Genuine Human, we believe in the power of community and compassion to change lives. That's why we're shining a spotlight on Angel Flight Central (AFC), a remarkable non-profit organization that embodies these values every day. With just a small team and the big hearts of volunteer pilots like Scott Lauridsen, AFC provides around 2,500 free flights each year, supporting individuals across 10 Midwest states to access crucial medical care and special experiences they otherwise couldn't.

Sunshine Scooters
DeInitially Tim’s goal was to assist children so they could qualify for an electric wheelchair. “If they can’t use the joystick at their physical therapy appointment when they get fitted, they won’t qualify”, Tim said. The scooter has gone through several iterations in three short years. “The new version behaves better, it controls better, and even has a mobile app for parents to guide-assist.” Given that a non-motorized pediatric wheelchair can cost a family over $10,000, Tim takes pride in that the $600 Sunshine Scooters are repeatedly covered by donations.

Feminine Hygiene Supplies for Hurricane Ian
When Tampa-based Genuine Human founder noticed the one enormous shortage of much needed supplies headed to those impacted by Hurricane Ian in Southwest Florida, she sprang into action with a specific fundraiser to collect feminine hygiene items. In only one week, Genuine Human raised over $1,000, partnered with a local business collection site and the items were delivered to those most in need by the following weekend. “I am continually inspired by our network of Genuine Humans and their willingness to give back to those in need”, said Amanda Dugger.
